📢 Short Information
➤ 🏛️ Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official notification (Advt. No. 08/2026-CAPF) for the Combined Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) Assistant Commandant Examination 2026. A total of 349 vacancies have been announced for BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP and SSB.
➤ 📅 The online application process has started from 20 February 2026 and the last date to apply is 12 March 2026. The last date for fee payment is also 12 March 2026. The written examination will be conducted on 19 July 2026, and admit cards will be issued before the exam.
➤ 💰 The application fee is ₹200/- for General and OBC candidates, while SC, ST and all Female candidates are exempted from paying the fee. Payment can be made through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI or other online modes only.
➤ 🎯 As per the age limit (as on 01 August 2026), candidates must be minimum 20 years and maximum 25 years. Age relaxation will be provided as per UPSC recruitment rules.

➤ Chest (For Male Only)Male candidates should have a chest measurement of 81–86 cm (with expansion). There is no chest requirement for female candidates.
➤ 100 Meters RaceMale candidates must complete the race in 16 seconds, while female candidates must complete it in 18 seconds.
➤ 800 Meters RaceMale candidates must complete the race in 3 minutes 45 seconds, whereas female candidates must complete it in 4 minutes 45 seconds.
➤ Long JumpMale candidates must clear 3.5 meters, and female candidates must clear 3 meters.
➤ Shot Put (7.26 Kg – For Male Only)Male candidates must throw the shot put to a minimum distance of 4.5 meters. There is no shot put requirement for female candidates.
